About the Speaker
Samantha “Sam” Strickland possesses all the attributes of a good cheerleader: enthusiasm, flexibility, determination…and lots of volume. Whether she’s leading a group or working in a team, her energy motivates everyone around her to push a little farther, try a little harder, and ultimately reach their goal. Armed with Masters and Bachelors degrees in Communication from Florida State University, she brings a strong understanding of communication theories and strategies, along with over 10 years of professional marketing experience with Florida Commerce Credit Union where she currently serves as VP of Brand Management. Over the span of her career, she’s won countless national and regional awards for her branding and marketing efforts. Two programs she initiated which have gained local and national attention are the “Sammy Squirrel Kids Club” and the “SmartStart Teen Program.” These programs are designed to attract young members to the credit union and keep them for life.
