Session Description
Your board, just like management, needs to work continuously to keep abreast of change and improve its operations. This course examines today’s challenges for directors and explores specific tasks of your board. Two tasks in particular are crucial to credit union effectiveness: 1) planning and evaluation, and 2) managing CEO accountability.

About the Speaker
Liz Aperauch has served in multiple capacities since joining the Florida Credit Union League and the FCUL Service Group in 1999. She started by representing HRx, the human resources consulting company of the FCUL Service Group. Her current role includes the representation of the several Service Group strategic partners. She continues to manage HRx products and services, as well as functioning as the liaison to the HR/TD Leadership Council of Florida. Her previous professional experience includes retail sales management for a national department store and mental health counseling for troubled teens and the adult mentally ill. This blend of profit-driven business and social-oriented work experience, along with her education, gives her a unique perspective and insight on the particular needs and mission of member-focused credit unions.
